Angle Dimension Edit ( Drawing Editor )

Tool summary :

  • Lets you edit one or multiple angle dimensions that you select. Selection filtering is built in.
  • While Angle Dimension Edit can be used to edit one angle dimension at a time, the tool is more commonly used for multi-editing. The preferred way to edit a single angle dimension is to double-click it while ' Default ' is selected as the selection filter.
  • If you preselect multiple types of objects, Angle Dimension Edit will edit only those objects that are angle dimensions. The other objects will remain selected. Click here for an example. Preselection is done in Select Items mode. Here are the steps:

    Select Items bindings (for preselection)

    1. Draw an area box or hold down the Shift key and left-click ( Select+ ) several objects of the same type or of different types.
    2. Invoke Angle Dimension Edit .
    3. The Edit Angle Dimension window opens.
  • In-tool selection takes place when you invoke Angle Dimension Edit with nothing selected or with object types other than angle dimensions selected. The tool brings up Select Item(s) mouse bindings, and the status line prompts you select angle dimensions. Here are the steps:

    1. Invoke Angle Dimension Edit .

      Select Item(s) bindings (for in-tool selection)
    2. Select one or more objects. Built-in selection filtering restricts you to selecting angle dimensions. Press the Enter key when you are done selecting the objects.
    3. The Edit Angle Dimension window opens.
  • To invoke Angle Dimension Edit :

    Method 1 : Click the Angle Dimension Edit icon. The icon can be taken from the group named ' Objects -- Angle Dimensions ' and placed on a toolbar (classic) or the ribbon (lightning).

    Method 2 : If " Drawing Editor layout style " is ' Classic ', you can use the menu system to choose Objects > Angle Dimensions > Edit .

    Method 3, 4 or 5 : Angle Dimension Edit can also be invoked using a keyboard shortcut , the context menu , or a mode . For the ' Lightning ' layout style, configuration of the interface is done using Customize Interface .
